COLORADO MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT INFORMATION

Here is a compilation of some resources from CO DMV and other places to hopefully make it easier for you to get that endorsement!

You may add a motorcycle endorsement to your license in two ways:

• Option 1:

  1: Pass the motorcycle written exam

  2: Once you've passed the written exam, purchase a motorcycle instruction permit

  3: Schedule an appointment

  4: and pass a motorcycle drive skills test 

Note:  It can be VERY challenging to find a company on the list above that offers only the skills exam.  However, we have seen Facebook posts from Go 4 It that mention track days and offer the motorcycle skills exams.

5: Purchase a new driver license to add motorcycle endorsement at a driver license office

• Option 2:

  1: Complete a Motorcycle Operator Safety Training (MOST) course
